"How we used to live" is the concept that best describes the Mönchhof Village Museum. It is fascinating to see how varied and detailed village life from bygone days is presented, courtesy of landlord Josef Haubenwallner. Visitors can live history. Haubenwallner and industrious helpers have restored and rebuilt original buildings in and around the Museum. Equipment, true to the original, reawakes memories of grandmother’s time. The "Handicraft" days are very popular – here one can see bakers, blacksmiths and cobblers plying long forgotten trades.
